I ticked ‘definite’ for confidence level having wavered over ‘probable’, but I wouldn’t class myself as expert, so maybe not absolutely definite! It was much bigger than a harbour porpoise, dark grey with no grey or scarring as I have seen in the past on Risso’s, but its nose was not visible. I did have a print-out of the relevant page of your website to help, which enabled me to rule out other possibilities.
The sighting was when I was on a Manx Ornithological Society walk with many other observers who might also report it. ca SC282663
