Hi everyone, we are now in yet another calm spell of weather, which should last at least another couple of days, if not longer. The wind will be coming from the east, hence the west coast will be calmer than the east naking it easier to spot things. Sunday and Monday look particularly calm, so if you are out walking along the coast, bring some binoculars and see if there is anything out there.
Which is why it is particularly disappointing that I will be away as from tomorrow, at a conference in Galway. I will be away until Friday the 30th, so if anyone has any really exciting sightings to report (ie. Risso’s dolphins), then please call the Marine Officer for Manx Wildlife Trust, Eleanor, their number is 844432. Happy spotting!
