Other Information:

First saw 1 minke from Douglas lighthouse and it was heading N towards Onchan. Still watching from D.Head, saw 2 minkes under Onchan head. They were feeding, moving back & too. After 1 hr. we moved to Onchan H.and there counted 3 adults plus 1 juvenile. They were all feeding. They all gradually moved further into Douglas bay itself. By 5pm. 4 became 3. 6pm only 2. Some of the feeding was close to surface (lunge feeding?)

Peter Quirk – 17:15 The bay was full of small mackerel (20cm), catching them from Douglas Head to Onchan. Whale in centre of promenade was in about 50 feet of water. Two seals also in the area.
