Raise sponsorship for MWDW at an event
Are you keen on doing a fundraiser and looking to support a cause that is ‘a little bit different?’ Why not help a small local charity dedicated to monitoring the Isle of Man’s marine wildlife?
Tin bath races
Each year we look for someone to race for us in the World Tin Bath Championships. MWDW has its own bath complete with painted dolphins and our logo. Previous contestants were Amy O’Reilly in 2023 and Di Reeves who has raced for us 3 years running.
Don’t fancy getting wet?
Think outside of the box and do what you want. You could learn to box in 12 weeks and enter a fight (like Michael McCarrick who raised £980 doing Thriller at the Villa in 2023!), run a half marathon, walk the Raaid Ny Foillen, do the Parish Walk…
All you need to do is find an event, sign up to it and contact us to say you would like to raise sponsorship. We will give you some sponsorship forms and advertise your event to our supporters.

Afternoon tea, raffle, bake sale, jumble sale, tombola, dress down ocean theme day at school, dress down days in the office, swear jar, pub quiz.
Anything goes (within reason) and all we ask is that all fundraisers are as eco-friendly as possible, for example avoiding single use plastics to wrap up prizes.
